Friends of PTC, are you ready to join us in Oslo?
As we announced last week, PTC is a title event partner for the Nobel Peace Prize Forum Oslo 2017. Coming up in a few short days, following the Nobel Peace Prize Awards Ceremonies, the Oslo Forum “Across Dividing Lines” will address indigenous rights within the context of social justice and environmental protection.
December 11, 2017 – 10am – 11:30am CET (CET Oslo time)/ 3am CST
The Forum will provide a platform for dialogue and sharing experiences for representatives of the Standing Rock conflict in the Standing Rock Indian Reservation in North Dakota, US, and the Nussir copper mine conflict in the municipality of Kvalsund, Norway. PTC will be listening intently to reflect on the proceedings of the Forum through the lens of our innovative Matrix of Peace model. Following the events, we will identify openings for action and opportunities to further peacebuilding. Read the press release here.
