Austin-based organization announces new global initiatives, the PeaceKey™ and PeaceFund™, and invites supporters to join Nobel Watch Parties. The nomination will be announced on Friday, October 10, 2025, at 11 a.m. in Norway.

Austin, TX, October 7, 2025

Peace Through Commerce, Inc. (PTC), headquartered in Austin, Texas, is thrilled to announce that, along with co-founder and CEO Philomena Blees, it has been nominated for the 2025 Nobel Peace Prize. The winner will be announced in Oslo, Norway, on Friday, October 10, 2025, at 11 a.m. CEST (4 a.m. CST).

A virtual watch party is now available for people to meet the faces of Peace Through Commerce behind this nomination. A live watch party will open on Zoom the hour before the announcement (link available below).

This nomination recognizes nearly two decades of pioneering work advancing flourishing societies through education, training, innovation, and thought leadership.

The nomination highlights PTC’s signature Matrix of Peace™ Framework, a model that integrates peacebuilding, commerce, and consciousness to create systems that support human dignity, justice, prosperity, and sustainability.

“This recognition reflects the work of countless partners, donors, and changemakers who believe peace can be designed and built through collaboration,” said Philomena Blees, CEO of Peace Through Commerce and author of the forthcoming Matrix of Peace book series. “It affirms what we have long known: lasting peace is not achieved by one organization alone, but through the collective efforts of people, businesses, and governments working together using best practices, systems thinking, and peace-optimizing values.”

To commemorate this milestone and engage its growing community, Peace Through Commerce has launched two global initiatives, the PeaceKey™ and the PeaceFund™, under the banner “Two keys, one movement, unlocking the future of Peace Through Commerce.”

PeaceKey™: Hold the Key to Peace™

The PeaceKey™ is a symbolic and participatory tool representing a shared commitment to building “peace through commerce.” Each PeaceKey signifies alignment with a Nobel-nominated movement that bridges business, governance, and civic action.

Purchasing a PeaceKey helps fund PTC’s educational programs, peacebuilding tools, and partnerships worldwide. Holders are encouraged to display their PeaceKeys on websites, email signatures, or social media, and to give them to individuals and organizations advancing peace in their communities.

PeaceFund™: Fund Peace. See Our Impact Grow.

The PeaceFund™ is the world’s first impact fund dedicated to financing “peace through commerce.” Contributions directly support projects that apply the Matrix of Peace™ framework in education, business, and governance, fostering measurable outcomes in prosperity, poverty reduction, and healthy conflict resolution.

“This moment is a celebration of our collective achievement,” Blees added. “Whether you hold a PeaceKey, give to the PeaceFund, or simply share our message, you are helping to write the next chapter in the story of Peace Through Commerce.”

In the next two months, Peace Through Commerce will also release the book series Matrix of Peace: Designing and Activating Peaceful Societies by Philomena Blees, with a foreword by John Mackey, co-founder of Whole Foods Market and Love.Life. You can preorder them here: Matrix of Peace – Theory Vol. 1, Model Vol. 2, and Technology Vol. 3.
