Our team is going to Oslo this December!

PTC is an event partner with the distinguished Nobel Peace Prize Forum Oslo 2017! We will be analyzing the proceedings of the Forum through the lens of our innovative Matrix of Peace model. We will identify openings for action and opportunities to further the honored Laureate’s work.

The 2017 Nobel Peace Prize Forum Oslo, “Across Dividing Lines”, will address indigenous rights within the context of social justice and environmental protection. 2017 marks the 10th anniversary of the adoption of the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples as well as the 25th anniversary of Dr. Rigoberta Menchu Tum receiving the Peace Prize for her work with indigenous peoples’ rights.

You can tune into the proceedings right from your living room as the Forum will be live broadcast to a global audience online at: nobelprize.org and on Youtube.

Most importantly, this 2017 forum is just the beginning. Working collaboratively with partners, we are working to transform peace recognition into peace action– where leaders from business, government and civil society are brought together to create concrete steps to solving issues that prevent peace.
